One of the things I love most about my job is that each day and job bring a unique challenge and a new story. My days range from producing, designing sets, scouting locations and art directing along with styling shoots for a diverse list of clients. I grew up in a creative household with a mother who was a puppeteer and a father who was a photographer and owned a movie theater in a church in Woodstock NY. I literally grew up in the movie theater watching art films every night with my dog, Harpo. I have been designing for as long as I can remember—first creating clothes for Barbie and later for myself, as well as constantly redecorating my room. Never imagining it would all lead to this career. At 20, while studying fashion and display design at Parsons, I started Woojee Wear, a line of kids clothing sold across the country in boutiques and department stores. From there I grew to realize that my true interests were in creating images and began my work as a freelance stylist.
