Hudson Valley native MacKenzie Campbell envisions makeup as the synthesis of beauty and empowerment. As an emerging makeup artist, she surrounds herself with creativity and transformation. Whether snowboarding, or embroidering in her spare time, MacKenzie approaches everything with a desire to learn and improve her skills. She obtained her New York State cridential in Makeup Artistry to polish her technique and expand her knowledge and skillset. What draws Mackenzie to makeup is her love for portraits. “I have always viewed the face as the most important part of the body that captures both beauty and expression. It demands decoration and recognition.” MacKenzie applies her relentless work ethic to her craft. She is willing to go beyond what is expected and strives to learn in all situations.
